Renate joined Strut Salon in 2008, and has more than a decade of cutting and colouring under her belt. Since she embarked on her career in 2001, she has taken every opportunity to learn from the crème de la crème. At hair shows in Chicago, New York and London, England, she gleaned invaluable lessons from renowned hairstylists like Trevor Sorbie. She's also taken courses at such esteemed institutions as Vidal Sassoon Academy, L'Oréal Academy and Martin Parsons.
A L’Oréal Professionelle junkie, Renate has trained with the products and has used them for her entire career! Whether you’re looking for a natural, subtle look or something bold and edgy, she will work with you to find the cut and/or colour that best complements you and your personality. (Her specialities include natural blonde highlights, precision cuts and bright colour.)
Renate is an easy-going, compassionate, proud Hamiltonian who’s crazy about animals and gardening (she "collects" irises and has been called the Cat Whisperer). She loves hairdressing because she gets to flex her creative muscle while conversing with her fabulous clients and colleagues.
