Preparing For Your Appointment

Client Preparation

  1. All clients must wear a mask.  If you don't have one, you can purchase one for $2.

  2. Use the hand sanitizer station upon entry into the salon.

  3. Expect to have your temperature taken by a touchless infrared thermometer.

  4. Do not plan for a transformative service such as a colour correction; all appointments will be kept to 3 hours or less.

  5. Must wait outside/in your car until your appointment time;  your stylist will text you when they are ready for you.

  6. Must come alone, no friends or family.

  7. No hugs or excessive close (moist) talking.

  8. Bring your own beverage if necessary. No magazines or drinks will be provided.

  9. Services may be altered - full blow dry and styling may not fall within the time constraints.

  10. The less personal items the better; jackets, purses, children should be left in your trunk.

  11. You may see a slight increase in prices due to the increase in supply and PPE costs.

  12. Just kidding about keeping your kids in the trunk!  Do not do that!!

Off the beaten track yet close enough to the action is where you'll find the best salon in Hamilton. After a not-so-hostile takeover of the former Fuze salon, in 2006 Stacie bought and renamed the salon Strut. It has become the destination for those in search of visionary cuts and colour in a decidedly unpretentious setting. Occupying one of the city's oldest buildings, built in the late 1800's, the former fish n' chips shop and carpet store is now well kept and flourishing as a friendly neighbourhood salon. The salon embraces the past while looking forward to the future of not only their community but everything that Hamilton has to offer.

Although Strut Salon welcomes individuals of all ages, please be advised that this is an adult environment. Some language and conversation topics may be unsuitable for children. Parental discretion is advised.
